Is 5 minutes a day really enough?

Yes — dogs learn best in short, frequent bursts. One focused 5-minute session beats an exhausting hour. Consistency is what builds habits, and 5 minutes is easy to keep up every single day.

Does Roofus only use positive reinforcement?

100%. Every program is built on reward-based methods backed by modern behavioral science. No punishment, no fear — just treats, praise, and play.

My dog is older — is it too late?

Never. Adult and senior dogs learn wonderfully — training keeps them sharp and strengthens your bond. The quiz adapts every program to your dog's age and energy level.

Does it work for every breed?

From chihuahuas to great danes. Your quiz answers shape the plan around your dog's breed traits — herding instincts, stubborn streaks, and all.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Care & Bloom Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Roofus mobile application (“App”) and related services. We built Roofus to help dog parents raise happy, well-behaved dogs, and we take your privacy seriously.

1. Who We Are

2. Our Privacy Promise

We do not show ads of any kind inside the App.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
We do not require a social profile to use the App.
We do not include any public chat, social feed, or user-to-user messaging features.
We do not use behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your email address. To personalize your training plan, we collect the answers you give in the setup quiz (such as your dog's age, breed, and the habits you want to work on). If you submit a training video to receive feedback from a certified trainer, we collect that video and any notes you add. If you contact support, we collect the contents of your message and your reply address.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When the App is used, we may collect anonymous, aggregate diagnostic information (such as crash reports and basic usage events) to keep the App stable. This data is not used to build an advertising profile of you.

3.3 Locally-stored training progress

Your dog's plan progress, XP, badges, streaks, and potty-tracker entries are stored locally on the device. This information stays on the device and is only synced to your account if you enable iCloud sync.

3.4 Camera & microphone

Some features let you record a short training video to send to a trainer for feedback. Recordings you choose to submit are uploaded only to provide that feedback. The in-app clicker and whistle tools simply play sounds and do not record audio.

4. How We Use Information

To deliver the App's training programs and features.
To personalize your dog's daily plan from your quiz answers.

To diagnose crashes and improve App stability.
To send product updates only if you opted in.
To respond to your support requests.

5. Children's Privacy

Roofus is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@roofus.app and we will delete it.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

If you purchase a subscription, billing is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not see or store your payment details. Subscription status may be verified anonymously through Apple's StoreKit framework.

7. Third-Party Services

We minimize third-party services. Where used:

Apple App Store / StoreKit — for distribution and subscription billing.
Apple iCloud / CloudKit (optional, only if you enable sync) — to back up your training data to your private iCloud account.
Secure cloud storage — to hold only the training videos you choose to submit for trainer feedback.

8. Data Retention

Locally-stored training data remains on the device until you delete the App. Account data and any videos you submit are retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Email addresses collected for product updates are retained until you unsubscribe.

9. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing privacy@roofus.app. You can delete your account and associated data directly in the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or by emailing us. To remove on-device data, simply uninstall the App.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect the data we do hold.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App or via this page. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the most recent revision.
