Terms of Service

Welcome to Roofus. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roofus mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Care & Bloom Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Roofus, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription and use the Service. By using Roofus, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide about yourself and your dog is accurate.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of Roofus require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

4. Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are governed by the Apple App Store's refund policy and must be submitted directly to Apple.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Resell, rent, or sublicense the App.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Submit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or that depicts cruelty to animals, or that you do not have the right to share.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within Roofus — including the training programs, lessons, character designs, audio, illustrations, software, and the “Roofus” brand — is the property of Care & Bloom Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

7. User Content

Roofus lets you submit training videos and notes to receive feedback. You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to store, process, and review that content solely to provide and improve the Service (for example, to deliver trainer feedback). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit.

8. Training Content & No Professional Advice

Roofus provides educational dog-training and care guidance based on positive-reinforcement methods. We strive for accuracy and review content with care. However, the Service is a supplementary educational experience and is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed veterinarian or a qualified animal behaviorist. If your dog shows signs of illness, injury, aggression, or distress, please consult a professional.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Care & Bloom Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may release new features, retire old ones, or change pricing with reasonable notice for paid plans.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Hong Kong.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App or via this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
